Drug Utilization Review Committee - Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Submission Deadline

The Alaska Department of Health, Division of Health Care Services, has announced a public meeting of the Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Committee scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be conducted exclusively via teleconference and webinar. The agenda includes a review of Medicaid prescription and cost trends, an analysis of new prescription medications, and evaluations of prior authorizations, quantity limits, and clinical edits for specific drugs including Icotyde, Nereus, Trutakna, Hympavzi, Xolair, and Zurzuvae. The committee will also review opioid use trends, ICD-10 reports, and FDA/DEA updates. Pharmaceutical manufacturers must submit unsolicited clinical materials by November 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. AK local time. Members of the public and health care professionals may submit materials until November 18, 2026, provided they include a conflict of interest disclosure form.
