Clinical Submissions Deadline for P&T Committee Meeting

The Alaska Department of Health, Division of Health Care Services, has scheduled a Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting for November 20, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will be conducted exclusively via teleconference and webinar to discuss updates to the state's Preferred Drug List (PDL). The agenda includes a review of various drug classes, categorized by status: 'Red' for new classes or drugs, 'Blue' for classes with new clinical information, and 'Green' for classes with no significant changes. Notable classes under review include Cystic Fibrosis agents, Multiple Sclerosis agents, Antipsychotics, and various Analgesics. Pharmaceutical manufacturers and the public are invited to submit clinical information or comments. Manufacturers must submit materials by November 6, 2026, while general public comments must be received by November 18, 2026. All industry presentations are limited to three minutes and must comply with federal regulations, with potential misrepresentations reported to the FDA.
