Alaska Airlines Nonstop Service Launch: Anchorage to Nashville

📍 Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport to Nashville International Airport

About this event

Alaska Airlines has announced the launch of its first-ever nonstop service between Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) and Narita International Airport (NRT), scheduled to begin on May 13, 2027. The route will be operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8, which the airline identified as the only aircraft in its fleet with the necessary range for the flight. The service will operate daily during the summer season and transition to three times weekly starting in January 2028. In addition to the Tokyo route, Alaska Airlines is expanding its Anchorage network with new seasonal nonstop service to Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Nashville. These flights are scheduled to run weekly on Saturdays from June 12, 2027, through August 7, 2027. The airline stated that these additions represent the largest nonstop schedule from Anchorage in the company's history. Introductory round-trip fares for the Anchorage-Tokyo route start at $999 for travel between May 13 and June 7, 2027, with bookings available through October 31. All new routes remain subject to government approval. The expansion coincides with the airline's upcoming 95th anniversary of service in Alaska.
