A driver faces three counts of third-degree assault after Alaska State Troopers said he threatened emergency medical workers and their families while they treated him following a rollover crash in Anderson on Friday.

Troopers received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on the Clear Access Road just before 9 pm, according to the troopers' Daily Dispatch. Investigators determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol when he crashed, troopers said. He made repeated threats to EMS personnel and their families during treatment, according to the dispatch.

Troopers collected a blood sample for analysis. After he was medically cleared, he was taken to Fairbanks Correctional Center. He is charged with driving under the influence, fourth-degree assault, driving while license revoked and three counts of third-degree assault. The charges are accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. He is being held without bail pending arraignment.

Clear Space Force Station security forces, the Clear Fire Department and the Anderson Volunteer Fire Department assisted, according to the dispatch.
