AlaskaCare retiree town halls went from twelve a year to four. The last of 2026 is Oct. 15.

AlaskaCare retiree town hall calls dropped from monthly to four a year in January. The next is Thursday, Oct. 15, at 10 am, and it is the last one scheduled this year.

The Division of Retirement and Benefits said in its August retiree newsletter that the calls now run quarterly, on the third Thursday of January, April, July and October. It held twelve of them in 2025, the last on Dec. 18.

The calls let retirees put questions directly to division staff. Registration is required in advance and closes at 9 am, an hour before the call. Anyone who does not register can still listen live online or on the division's Facebook page.
