Alaska Native Medical Center offers free mass-casualty triage training

Alaska Native Medical Center is offering free online training licenses for mass-casualty triage through the end of the year, targeting both pre-hospital and in-hospital professionals.

The S.T.A.R.T. Triage course teaches rapid-assessment skills for sorting patients during mass-casualty incidents. The training is designed to sharpen rapid-assessment skills and eliminate chaos during emergencies.

The training is sponsored by Alaska Native Medical Center with funding from Alaska Hospital Preparedness Program sub-awards. A limited number of licenses are available for community partners while supplies last.

Agencies can register by submitting participant names and email addresses (individually or in batches) to [email protected]. Disaster Management Systems will provide login information directly after registration. There is no immediate completion deadline once registered.
