Alaska corrects fiscal year 2027 waiver rate chart as 3.2% Medicaid increase takes effect

The Alaska Division of Senior and Disabilities Services reissued its fiscal year 2027 rate notice after an error was found in the original Chart of Waiver Service Rates FY27. The reissued e-Alert includes a corrected chart as an attachment, which will also be updated on the Department's webpage.

The correction does not change the underlying rate action. Payment rates for Medicaid home and community-based waiver and state plan services rose 3.2% on July 1, 2026. The division said the increase is being added to the state's Medicaid Management Information System so claims for services delivered on or after that date are processed at the new rates.
