ADF&G to issue 10 mountain goat permits in Seldovia on June 10

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game will issue 10 mountain goat hunting permits for Game Management Unit 15C on June 10, 2026, in a two-hour window at the Seldovia Pavilion. Permits for the RG364 registration hunt will be distributed first-come, first-served from 10 a.m. to noon, or until all permits are issued.

The hunt is open only to Alaska residents. Hunters must pick up permits in person in Seldovia. The advisory announcement was issued on May 27, 2026.

The 2025 hunt information page lists the season dates for RG364 as August 10 to October 15, with the hunt subject to early closure by emergency order. A prior Seldovia.com notice said the same local goat hunt had 15 permits available in an earlier year, showing the permit count has changed over time.
