video • Alaska News
Good morning. Will the Senate please come to order for the purposes of a technical session? Because we are in a technical session, the roll call is waived today. We will also forego the invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, and certification of the journal. As there are no members on the floor, we will have no introduction of guests.
Madam Secretary, are there messages from the governor? A declaration of disaster emergency dated July 25th authorizing public assistance for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in response to flooding in the community of Talkeetna and surrounding areas, with an accompanying letter, was received pursuant to AS 26-23020 and AS 26-23025. The letter and declaration had been copied to the Finance Committee co-chairs. Those are all the messages from the governor this morning, Mr. President. Are there messages from the House?
I have no messages from the House. Are there communications? There are no communications today. Are there reports of standing committees? I have no reports of standing committees this morning.
Are there reports of special committees? There are no special committee reports this morning. As we are in a technical session, there are no Senate resolutions for introduction today, no Senate bills for introduction today. We have no items on today's daily calendar, and no matters of unfinished business could be in order today. I have no committee announcements or other announcements, and since we are in a technical session, there are no special orders in order today.
With that, the Senate will stand in adjournment until 11:00 AM on Friday, August 7th, 2026. We're adjourned.
