Scott M. Kendall is an Anchorage attorney and strategic consultant specializing in appellate litigation, constitutional and administrative law, elections, campaign finance, ballot measures, governmental affairs and strategic communications. He served as chief of staff to Alaska Gov. Bill Walker from 2016 to 2018 and previously worked on U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s successful 2010 write-in campaign and 2016 reelection campaign. Kendall has drafted and defended statewide ballot measures, including the 2014 Bristol Bay protections and Alaska’s 2020 election-system initiative establishing open primaries and ranked-choice general elections.
