From the transcript
The board had had some questions earlier this year, and we thought it was just important to review some specific information regarding our facilities and how this major maintenance prioritized list, uh, is created and prioritized. And so, uh, first, um, I think, uh, it's just important to understand a little bit more about the size of our operation in terms of the facilities. So when we look at all of the buildings that are owned by the borough and operated by the school district, the total value of all of those facilities is in excess of a billion dollars. So when we think about the funding that is requested and set aside and used in support of those facilities, we really are a billion-dollar organization. Uh, unfortunately, our total current deferred maintenance costs at this point in time, uh, is in excess of $400 million.
