And it's really hard for us to believe that the stock assessment estimate was that far off, given that in those days there were annual surveys, historic data being used, CPUE data available to the assessment team and the Gulf trawl survey data was being used. All of that data has been dropped out for different reasons. But I would note, as one SSC member said, just because dropping data improves model fit and performance, it doesn't necessarily mean it's right. So as others have said, a cut of this level when the biomass is increasing will have a huge impact on the fleet. We've for years asked that this ABC not be increased.
