The— this historic funding demonstrates the department's total commitment to tribal energy projects across the country, and even more directly, the total commitment that the department has to Alaska. This is but one of many, many projects that we're doing here in Alaska, whether it's reconductoring the backbone transmission system or ensuring that there are advanced technologies being employed for the transmission system to enhance the stability of the system during winter events. We are absolutely dedicated to ensuring that Alaska is able to meet its energy challenges. And this is a state that is fundamental to the United States. Not only does Alaska have an immense amount of natural resources and energy resources, it also has an extremely attenuated, broad set of communities, each one of which is remote from other places, which creates real challenges to keep the prices down and to keep the, the electric system stable.
