Uh, fisheries are simply not part of my job duties. Um, I want to say, uh, recently a board member complained at the Alaska Peninsula Aleutian Island meeting that I get paid six figures and then that may influence my decision-making. Uh, that decision was reiterated yesterday before the Department of Law and in orientation and training. I want to say, and I sympathize with that board member, I, I grew up in dire straits. I remember sleeping in my brother's pickup truck in Fairbanks in December and figuring out how to make $4 feed me for a week.
