And so I fear that that's not what voters in the ballot box are going to see when they see this ballot measure. They're going to think this is, oh, this is simple. We want it to be only I wish I could be there with those voters and say, "It already says that. We already know that only U.S. citizens can vote, and what we are doing is hurting a population of Alaskans who want to serve their community and want to vote in their community, and this ballot measure will prevent that." And so I have to ask myself, why is this ballot measure coming forth right now? The only evidence of folks who are not citizens voting in Alaska in recent memory are these American Samoans in Whittier.
