And for everyone to be aware that while the lake gauge may crest, it'll take about an hour to an hour and a half for lower levels of the river to also crest. So allow for some lag further downstream. In the event, unlikely event, of a Hesco barrier breach during that major flood stage, our office would coordinate with the Unified Command and issue a flash flood warning. If you did get a flash flood warning, all of your phones would go off for that if you were in the evacuation area, and we would ask that you shelter in place if you were in the evacuation area during an unlikely flash flood warning event.
