From the transcript

Thank you. I am David Beebe representing myself. As a Vietnam-era veteran, I feel compelled to begin by recognizing the hundreds of thousands of military personnel during World War I and World War II who sacrificed their lives upholding their oaths to support, protect, and defend our constitutional rights from enemies foreign and domestic. As borough government officials and elected representatives of We the People, your tenures began with similar oaths of office to support and protect both Alaska's and the U.S. constitutions from enemies foreign and domestic. So having begun this meeting with your pledges of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the constitutional republic for which it stands, exactly how do you reconcile the contradictions of your pledges and oaths of office by authorizing the establishment of an AI-enabled data center, and build-out of 5G and 6G networks.
