I think from hearing all of the comments, reading all of the comments, I'm different because I, I'm from here. I've watched the degradation of our lands over the last 62 years that I've been here. And seeing a proposal to do more of that, especially in the area that it is in, in the wetlands, I was not aware that there were salmon coming into this area. Now that I am, it is even more clear to me that we shouldn't be doing anything with this. And I, like many others, think that we should close this thing off for good and not let this come up again where we— I mean, we need the buffer zone to protect the lake, protect all the animals, the fish, the birds, the wildlife, the people that live around there.
