From the transcript

We also recognize we need to do better to improve rural access. So this means expanding language access so that even if English is not your first language, that you are able to learn what's on the ballot and make an informed choice. We need to make sure that our polling places are adequately staffed so that people can show up on Election Day and participate. And then finally, we need to rebuild public faith and trust in Alaska's elections. So that means as lieutenant governor, it is my job not to impart my views or my partisan lens on any sort of decisions, but to empower the department to make good decisions, to respect the determinations that the commission makes, and ultimately to also make sure that we are protecting Alaska's right to privacy that is enshrined in our Constitution and certainly something I take very seriously.
