And I took that very seriously because I was doing it on your behalf. I didn't rush it. We spoke with many candidates, some wonderful Alaskans, and I was looking for someone smart, competent, with demonstrated leadership, with good character, someone who is trustworthy because we've got a lot of work to do. And with the expanded role in my administration, different than previous governors, we're going to need someone who can do more than just ensure election integrity, but can move important important efforts to help us have a strong state.
