Number one, rates of Chinook and chum bycatch, especially 10 or 20 years ago, were extremely elevated. They've come down a lot since, but in past decades, very, very high rates of Chinook and chum bycatch I think if we had a time machine, fisheries managers would go back and we'd institute harder caps and reductions in bycatch that probably hurt escapement and hurt those runs. Second factor, changing ocean conditions. And the oceans are unfortunately changing, ocean chemistry, ocean temperature. ADF&G is doing research in the Bering Sea with juvenile Chinook.
