We do not have mass numbers of non-US citizens voting, but I think that folks are performing for a federal audience to say, "We hear you and we're going to do something about it." And I think that's what led to 3,500 letters going out to new Americans here in Alaska to say that they have to go through an additional step to prove that they are a US citizen, to prove that they can vote, that we're not requiring of any other US citizen in Alaska. I beg people to vote no on this ballot measure. It is unnecessary. Our law is currently clear. Do not hamstring the legislature from being able to do the moral right thing and help American Samoans vote.
