Thank you, Chair Keeton. Uh, city's public noticing requirements are intended to ensure that members of the public receive timely and meaningful information regarding public hearings, land use matters, and other matters requiring public notice. As methods of accessing information have evolved, there's an opportunity to modernize the city's public noticing process while maintaining transparency and promoting meaningful public participation. The proposed ordinance would update existing public noticing requirements to place greater emphasis on accessible, commonly used, and efficient methods of communicating information to the public. A key component of the proposed changes is development and implementation of a dedicated public noticing webpage on the city's existing website.
