From the transcript

I'm part of it, but we have a dedicated ethics attorney and ethics section that has been communicating with you in the wake of certain Area M regulations being invalidated. As such, I cannot answer any ethics-related questions you have, nor is it law's practice necessarily to make an ethics attorney available to discuss an outstanding ethics matter in a public forum like we're in here right now. Notwithstanding that practice, you do have a right, Mr. Chamberlain, to waive any confidentiality privileges associated with ethics matters involving yourself, and you've you elected to do that here this morning. Regarding the issue of whether an advisory opinion that you've sought pursuant to the order of corrective action will be issued, law's position that I've been authorized to relay to you here now is that an advisory opinion cannot be completed because there are still outstanding questions that the Department of Law believes needs to be answered by yourself before that could be issued. You may disagree with that conclusion, but it's a discussion you can have with the ethics attorney, just not here in a public forum.
