That is exactly why Congress created what are called fee-shifting laws. The principle is simp— simple. If you want to sue the government and you want— win because the government broke the law, the government pays your legal fees. This allows people from all walks of life— ranchers, veterans, tribal members, seniors, and environmental protectors— to have their day in court.
