Our transition has been bumpy. But Karen has been amazing at making me feel confident that somebody is looking out for my child. We talk every day. While in middle school, they try to have students become more independent. She's still a child though, and it takes much— we want to take the load off of her so she can be a kid and not have to hold the entire load of her chronic illness.
