Wasilla firm wins $9.85 million in GSA orders for San Diego border crossings

KCORP Reliance Company, Inc. of Wasilla won $9,852,762 across three General Services Administration contracts to operate, maintain and renovate U.S.-Mexico border crossing facilities in San Diego, **work performed entirely outside Alaska**.

The largest award, $5,489,616, covers operations and maintenance and VTE services at the San Ysidro and Tecate land ports of entry, running from Sept. 1, 2026, through Aug. 31, 2027. A second award, $4,187,734, covers the same scope at the Otay, Calexico and Andrade ports, running from Sept. 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. A third contract, $175,412, funds converting two dry search rooms into two wet cell rooms at the San Ysidro port on Camiones Way; that award period began Aug. 7 and runs through March 31, 2027. The records abbreviate the scope as O&M and VTE without defining the second term.

The two larger awards are calls against a single-award blanket purchase agreement, 47PG5226A0013, held by GSA's Public Buildings Service. The $9.85 million is **orders under it**, not a contract of that value.

KCORP Reliance holds GSA contract 47QSHA23D001B. GSA's eLibrary lists the firm as an Alaska Native Corporation-owned firm, an SBA-certified HUBZone firm, and a participant in the Multiple Award Schedule 8(a) pool, the Small Business Administration's disadvantaged-business program, with a pool exit date of June 6, 2030. Its current option period ends July 26, 2028, with an ultimate contract end date of July 26, 2043.

The firm also holds Alaska-performed federal work, including a $5.2 million operational technology order.

Alaska Native corporations generated $9 billion in federal work in 2022 and returned $300 million to shareholders last year.
