Troopers issue Silver Alert for missing 73-year-old Sutton man

Alaska State Troopers are searching for Kim Dodge, a 73-year-old Sutton man last seen Monday night along the Glenn Highway.

Troopers received a missing person report for Dodge at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday and activated the Silver Alert system, according to the agency's daily dispatch. Dodge was last seen at 10 p.m. July 27 near mile post 71 of the Glenn Highway.

Dodge is 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with blue eyes, gray hair and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket and blue jeans.

Troopers classified Dodge as a vulnerable adult, the finding that triggers a Silver Alert. Alaska Adult Protective Services defines a vulnerable adult as a person 18 or older who, because of physical or mental impairment, cannot meet their own needs or protect themselves from harm.
