Right lane closes on E Tudor Road eastbound Monday for drainage work

Eastbound drivers on East Tudor Road are set to lose the right lane between Juneau Street and Brayton Drive from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday for drainage maintenance, the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities reports.

Alaska 511 lists the closure as a minor traffic event. The road remains open in both directions.

A separate westbound closure of one left lane between Harrison Street and Minnesota Drive, running around the clock since July 17, is scheduled to lift at 9 a.m. Monday. 511 rates it major.

A larger closure is scheduled next: East Tudor Road work near Laurel Street runs Sept. 12 to Sept. 21 in all directions for new storm drain installations, with the north side of the Tudor and Lake Otis intersection shut.
