NOAA Opens North of Falcon Troll Fishery June 19 With 20-Chinook Cap

Commercial troll fishers working the waters between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon have a five-day window starting Thursday, June 19, with a landing and possession limit of 20 Chinook per vessel for the entire open period. The fishery closes Tuesday, June 23 at 11:59 p.m.

The 20-Chinook limit is lower than the 35-Chinook cap NOAA set for the June 12-16 opening and below the 50-Chinook limits that defined earlier openings this season.
