Public Comment Period: Cannabliss Retail Marijuana Store License Renewal
About this event
The Alaska Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) has deemed the 2026/2027 retail marijuana store license renewal application for Cannabliss, operated by Baby Bull, LLC, to be complete. The business is located at 2001 E. 5th Avenue in Anchorage, with Vito Ungaro serving as the designated licensee. The application has been forwarded to the Municipality of Anchorage and the Mountain View Community Council for review.
Under 3 AAC 306.060, the local government has 60 days from the October 5, 2026, notice date to file a formal protest against the renewal. The Marijuana Control Board has delegated authority to the AMCO Director to approve renewals; however, the board must independently review the application if there are outstanding notices of violation, a local government protest, or a public objection filed within 30 days.
If the application proceeds without protest or objection, the 2026/2027 license will be issued during the annual inspection or mailed if no inspection is required. If a protest or objection is filed, the board will consider the application, and a temporary license may be issued in the interim.
