Anchorage VA seeks bids for pain-management imaging table, deadline August 3

The Anchorage VA Medical Center issued a request for quotes Wednesday for a C-Arm imaging table used in fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures, with bids due August 3 at 3 p.m. PDT.

The Anchorage VA is one of seven locations operated by VA Alaska Health Care across the state. Veterans and advocates have long cited wait times, travel burdens, and limited specialty access as barriers to care; a single equipment purchase may not fully resolve those concerns.

The table carries a 500-pound weight capacity and an electronic lift tower with four electric motion options: height, Trendelenburg tilt, longitudinal travel, and lateral tilt. Required accessories include a polycarbonate fluor extender, an arm hammock, a carbon fiber arm board, upgraded 5-inch casters, and a multi-function foot control. Delivery to the Muldoon Road campus is required within 90 days of receipt of order.

The solicitation, issued July 22, is set aside 100 percent for small businesses under NAICS code 339113, which covers surgical and medical instrument manufacturing, with a size standard of 800 employees. To be considered responsive, offerors must submit a completed and signed SF 1449, company contact and UEI information, a completed price and cost schedule, an authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer, and a completed Buy American certificate. Offers will be evaluated on authorized provider status, technical compliance with the salient characteristics, and price. The contract is administered by VA Network Contracting Office 20.
