Anchorage VA seeks bids for pain-management imaging table, deadline August 3

The Anchorage VA Medical Center is shopping for a C-Arm imaging table — the equipment used in fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures, where a doctor works from live X-ray to place an injection or a nerve block precisely.

It is a small purchase inside a system Alaska veterans have complained about for years. VA Alaska Health Care runs seven locations across the state, and wait times, travel distance, and thin specialty coverage are the standing grievances. One table does not change that.

The contract is set aside entirely for small businesses, with delivery to the Muldoon Road campus required within 90 days. Bids are due Aug. 3.
