Air Force opens small-business-only bidding on four Alaska radar tower inspections, offers due Aug. 21

The Air Force has **restricted bidding entirely to small businesses** for inspecting four remote Alaska radar towers, with offers due 2 p.m. Mountain Friday, Aug. 21, noon in Alaska.

The solicitation, FA8217-26-R-B005, issued Aug. 14 by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, covers non-destructive inspection of AN/FPS-117 long-range radar towers at Fort Yukon, Indian Mountain, Tatalina and Sparrevohn.
