His wife is a firefighter, captain and paramedic. Position Statement Alaska is heading in the wrong direction and weak leadership is failing the people who built this state. Families are being crushed by rising costs. Crime is out of control in too many communities. Schools are failing our children.
Young Alaskans are leaving because they no longer believe they can afford to build a future here. Meanwhile, government keeps growing while delivering less. I am not willing to accept decline for Alaska. I believe Alaska's best days are still ahead, but only if we fight for them. And as Lieutenant Governor I will push aggressively to develop our resources, expand access to land and housing, strengthen infrastructure, lower energy costs and support the workers, fishermen, tradesmen, miners, small businesses and families who built this state.
As Lieutenant Governor, I will fight to strengthen election integrity, improve accountability and ensure Alaska's elections are transparent, secure, timely and trusted by the public. I will work closely with the Governor to advance policies that create jobs, restore economic growth, defend constitutional rights and expand opportunities across Alaska. As a Marine Corps Special Operations veteran, businessman, investor and investment advisor, I understand leadership under pressure, accountability and long term planning. I have worked construction projects across Alaska, invested in Alaska businesses and real estate and helped families prepare for their futures. Alaska can grow again, build again and lead again.
