Directly for an organization that is doing good in the community. I don't really understand why I would not pay sales tax if I went to one nonprofit and bought something and they made less than $300,000 in sales versus one that made over. There's— I don't understand why that would be good policy. I also think, you know, Ms. Yuciani said it, but The theory behind why we are considering getting rid of this exemption for nonprofit sales is because to treat them like we treat businesses, and I don't understand why businesses that make less than $300,000, they also have this exact same burden. And as somebody who has a, you know, yoga business that makes $400 a year, I am able to collect, remit, and file my sales tax.
So I, I, I just don't think it, it really makes any sense. I know this will be a burden on our nonprofits, but I, but that's not a good reason to enact a policy that, that is.
