My name is Jonathan O'Roon Jr., born and raised in Klawock, and 61 years old, carving a long time. And I always tell people, you know, it's— I'm not an expert.
These two posts are really house post style poles. Me and Charles Edgerson had been talking and he said he wanted some carving. He said, "I want them to represent Cloaque." He said, "Well, which one should face out?" I said, "Most definitely the raven because this is a raven town." I said the eagle and raven got to have balance. You do one, you got to do the other. Designing the raven one, I put a man down below, and then on the other one, a woman.
A bentwood box that is representing a round box. The design on the bottom is my version of Gana Kadeet, which is the shogun of— we can all use that design. You know, my version of it.
