Morning, Aaron Sills, 600 Adams Avenue. Uh, I just wanted to give my personal experience, uh, based off of a small business project, uh, coming out of Houston, Texas. Cattle are a big thing. We have cattle guards everywhere. I I just want y'all, City Council, to keep in mind, uh, for this project, I am not here to talk about bears or fences because that's not something I have a ton of experience with, but cattle guards do not stop bears.

Uh, that would be an absolute waste of time and money. I understand the intent behind them as it was written was that the bears then couldn't cross and follow vehicles, uh, because they're big flat padded feet and because they're great at climbers. Uh, cattle guards do nothing to stop either black or grizzly bears, so Just keep that in mind as we go through this. I don't see that being beneficial at all. They're made specifically for hoofed animals.

So, whoops, I guess, but just be aware. That was all. Thank you.

We have before us a response to a request for proposals that was issued for the landfill and barrier fence at our 17 Mile Landfill fence. I think as everybody here knows and people may be listening has been required by DEC. And that's why, and also because we're here because we had a ballot initiative. That approved the city, um, taking on this low-interest loan which does have some forgiveness. So, um, I would entertain a motion to, uh, get something on the table so that we can discuss the proposal with city manager.

Mayor, I move to direct the city manager negotiate a contract with Cordova Power Sports LLC to provide construction services outlined in RFP PW2602 for a sum not to exceed $870,000.
