A Wind Advisory is in effect for Anchorage from 7 a.m. Tuesday to noon Wednesday, with south to southeast winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts of up to 40 to 50 mph. The Weather Service says to secure loose outdoor objects and warns that fully leafed trees make power outages more likely.
