Larry McNeil, a Tlingit photographer and Boise State professor emeritus, warned a Sealaska Heritage Institute audience Tuesday that AI hiring tools Stanford flagged as racially biased are already in wide use, and urged artists to rely on authenticity and their own voices rather than AI-generated work.
