From the transcript
I have dealt with difficult issues, helped move longstanding projects forward, and made decisions I knew would not— I would not always have be popular. I want to acknowledge something that I've heard from multiple council members, even just tonight, that my approach can sometimes feel more direct or firm than they would like to hear, and I hear that feedback and I take it very seriously. I'm determined when there is a problem and I want to find a solution. When there is work to be done, I want to get it done. But I understand that my focus on getting to an answer can sometimes overshadow how a person feels during the process.
