And so this resolution gives the board Well, gives the public the clear voice of us that says we will essentially accept the superintendent's recommendation not to close any schools except in the cases of emergencies. So this resolution would not bind us from having to quickly act if there was another earthquake or anything else that, you know, knocking on wood here, we hope will not happen to the Anchorage School District this year. So that's kind of the introduction. Um, voting yes on this would shift us from resource-driven scarcity reaction mode, and it would give us the ability to open dialogue with the community, um, essentially as an olive branch. So if we don't pass this resolution, we could still open dialogues with the community, but I would have a concern that I would be inviting somebody to defend their school rather than to envision what makes an Anchorage School District experience the best possible thing.
