No one should have to go without the medication they need to stay healthy. And that's why I introduced my amendment, Baldwin-Collins number 1. This bipartisan amendment would restore a pilot program for uninsured patients to access insulin for $35 a month and a resource center to help patients afford and access access affordable insulin. Both of these policies were in the original text of the Insulin Act, but unfortunately are not in the manager's amendment before us today. So I ask for the support of all of my colleagues on this amendment to ensure that patients without insurance are not left behind and that patients have access to resources to help them find information about access to insulin.
