Tatitlek man held without bail after felony domestic violence arrest

Alaska State Troopers arrested a Tatitlek man on a felony domestic violence assault charge Sunday and remanded him to Glennallen Jail without bail, according to the B Detachment daily dispatch.

Tatitlek is a small Alaska Native village in Prince William Sound with a population under 100.

Troopers received the report at approximately 5:12 p.m. on July 20. Dennis Zacher, 55, was charged with Assault in the Third Degree, a felony.

Under Alaska Court System rules, bail for defendants held in Glennallen Jail cannot be posted at the facility during court hours and must instead be posted at a court.

Charges are accusations. Zacher is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
