Middle Yukon River Fish & Game Committee meets April 15

The Middle Yukon River Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet April 15 at 10 a.m. by web and phone to discuss proposals for the Board of Game and comment on action plans for Yukon River salmon stocks.

The committee will consider submitting proposals to the Board of Game for the 2026-2027 cycle, with a May 1 deadline. Members will also discuss comments on a Board of Fisheries special meeting scheduled for May 1 regarding action plans for Yukon River Chinook and fall chum salmon, both designated as stocks of concern.

The agenda includes updates from Alaska Department of Fish and Game staff and other fisheries and wildlife business. The meeting is open to the public.
