Public objection period for Catalyst Cultivation marijuana license renewal

The Alaska Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) has deemed the renewal application for Catalyst Cultivation, LLC, doing business as Catalyst Cannabis Company, to be complete. The facility, located at 5001 Eagle St., Suite B, Anchorage, holds license number 10284. The application has been forwarded to the Municipality of Anchorage and the Midtown Community Council for review. Under 3 AAC 306.060, the local government has 60 days from the September 18, 2026, notice date to file a formal protest against the renewal. The Marijuana Control Board retains the authority to review the application independently if a protest is filed, if a public objection is received within 30 days, or if there are outstanding notices of violation associated with the license. While the AMCO Director has delegated authority to approve renewals that are free of protests or violations, any contested applications will require a mandatory board appearance. Upon final approval, the 2026/2027 license will be issued during an annual inspection or mailed to the licensee.
