Public Objection Period for Catalyst Cannabis Company Retail Marijuana License Renewal

The Alaska Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) has deemed the renewal application for Catalyst Cannabis Company (License #31417) complete. The business, located at 5305 E Northern Lights Blvd in Anchorage, is operated by Catalyst Retail, LLC, with William Schneider serving as the designated licensee. The application has been forwarded to the Municipality of Anchorage and the Russian Jack Community Council for review. Under 3 AAC 306.060, the local government has 60 days from the September 18, 2026, notice date to file a formal protest against the renewal. While the Marijuana Control Board delegated authority to the AMCO Director to approve renewals on May 15, 2017, the board must independently review this application if there are outstanding notices of violation, local government protests, or public objections filed within 30 days. If the application proceeds without such issues, the 2026/2027 license will be issued during an annual inspection or mailed to the licensee.
