Public Comment Period Closes: ADL 234811 Noncompetitive Land Sale

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), has issued a public notice regarding a proposed noncompetitive land sale under ADL 234811. The subject property is located approximately 1.5 miles southeast of Houston, Alaska, within the Cheri Lake Subdivision. The proposed sale is being conducted pursuant to AS 38.05.810, which allows for the disposal of state land to public and charitable applicants. The applicant for this land acquisition is the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC). The public comment period for this proposal has been extended. Interested parties must submit their comments by 4:30 PM on Monday, September 21, 2026, to be considered by the department.
