Local Government Protest Deadline: AK Legend LLC Marijuana License Renewal

The Alaska Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) has officially notified AK Legend LLC, doing business as AK Legend Gardens, that their renewal application for a Standard Marijuana Cultivation Facility license (#32367) has been deemed complete. The facility is located at 7750 King St, Anchorage, AK, and is operated by Jered Buss and Patrick Reagan.
Following the determination of completeness, the application has been forwarded to the Municipality of Anchorage and the Taku Campbell Community Council for review. Under 3 AAC 306.060, the local government has 60 days to file a formal protest against the renewal. If no protest is filed and no notices of violation exist, the AMCO Director has the delegated authority to approve the renewal.
Should a protest be filed, or if public objections are received within 30 days, the application will be referred to the Marijuana Control Board for independent consideration. The board maintains the authority to uphold local government protests unless they are found to be arbitrary, capricious, or unreasonable. Final license issuance for the 2026/2027 period is contingent upon the completion of this review process and any necessary annual inspections.
