City and Borough of Juneau — Assembly Committee of the Whole Worksession

The Juneau Assembly Committee of the Whole will hold a worksession on September 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Assembly Chambers and via Zoom. The meeting is designated as a worksession where no public testimony will be accepted. The agenda includes four primary topics: a discussion on e-bike and e-moto regulations pending referral from the Lands, Housing, and Economic Development Committee; a review of Ordinance 2026-12 regarding a tax on peer-to-peer vehicle sharing near cruise ship docks; a status update on View Drive; and a discussion on long-term funding considerations for Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOF). Additionally, the committee will approve minutes from the September 29, 2025, meeting. Supplemental materials for the View Drive update are scheduled to be available by the end of the day on September 18, 2026. The next meeting is scheduled for November 2, 2026.
