Arctic Shipping Federal Advisory Committee (ASFAC) Nominations Deadline

The Maritime Administration (MARAD), part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, has officially announced the creation of the Arctic Shipping Federal Advisory Committee (ASFAC). The agency is currently soliciting nominations from qualified individuals to serve as members on this new committee. Interested candidates must submit their applications by 5:00 p.m. on September 22, 2026, to be considered for immediate appointment. MARAD will continue to accept applications for a period of up to two years following this deadline to address any potential vacancies that may occur.
